Look, we have a green thumb!

In an effort to do many things such as; be a little more self sustaining, green, organic, and busy, we planted our very first garden this year. Any of you know who have seen our back yard know, there isn't much room, well there certainly isn't any room anymore as the garden has taken over. One source told us that not all of the plants we planted would make it. We bought extra of everything to ensure a good crop(okay maybe we went a little overboard). We have not lost one plant. It is amazing to us how this thing just keeps growing. Here are a few pictures of our garden!

The fruits of our labor have started to pay off. We have peppers growing like crazy and the tomatoes are so close to being ready. This head of romaine lettuce was our first harvest.
Here is what is looked like, washed and turned into a meal. We are so proud!

Your garden is beautiful! I am so proud of you, you're so domesticated! Our garden is mostly squash this year, maybe we can exchange produce, because I know we’ll get more squash than we can eat.
